An alarm or an alarm system is a device that warns or detects any violation of privacy in different places by making noise, sound or warning the person in a variety of ways, including via email, SMS, phone call or sounding. Alarms that are currently available in the market have different shapes and types. Generally, they have a common structure and their main purpose is similar to each other. There is another type of burglar alarm in the market, which is used today in certain places to protect property and assets, in certain organizations such as banks, car alarms, etc. This article reviews and presents a different alarm. whose main purpose is to provide possible security in public and private places, especially military places.

This paper presents the design and construction of a comprehensive digital security system with the aim of providing a 24 hour digital watchdog for institutions such as banks, schools, the church, residential homes or anything that requires monitoring. The infra-red and digital technologies were used in the realization of this objective. The infra-red (I.R.) signal is transmitted by an I.R diode which is intercepted and decoded by the receiver circuitry. Obstructing the line of sight (within 8 meters) produced a digital display of the zone trespassed. This also triggers an alarm, both of which are designed to have duration of 30 seconds. The transmitters and sensors should be raised at least 1 meter above the ground to ensure that only humans trigger the alarm.

Nowadays, house security system becomes the best solution to overcome house intrusion problem when user is not in the house. There are many types of house security system which is too expensive and difficult to use. For that reason, an effective house security system at low cost is built where users can also program the security system to their choices. This project is focused on developing a house security system with an active infrared motion detector. Infrared motion detector is a project that uses an infrared sensor as it is based to detect movement or moving object in protected location. It is designed to be a low-cost motion detector. It consists of two sensors: an infrared-emitting diode and the other, an infrared sensor establishing an invisible beam. Once the beams are interrupted, an alarm would be triggered. When the signal is blocked by any movement, the receiver will get the signal and amplifies using transistor. The transistor is used as an amplifier in the receiver circuit. The Led and photo diode in the circuit detects any movement using the sensor.

3 ABSTRACT: Security system was implemented more than years ago, but only today are the conditions united for mass application of this technology. The customer requires simple, reliable and high performance core system. In recently the system design with high resolution camera and built up with different sensor and also provides Internet service for global access for databases. In this design we survey the current work on security system and application. We examine the existing work, which is held by ultrasonic sensor to inform any intruder passed through the surveillance region, PIR (Pyroelectric Infrared) sensors for activities observation i.e. for motion detection with the help of majority voting mechanism and monitoring alarm system, which is commonly used. This review contributes to better understanding of the challenging in existing work on security system and further research direction.
